The Editor: A Love Story is not to be missed! Well, it's not exactly a love story, per se. It's more of a philosophical story with romantic elements. Never mind. Let's just call it "The Editor". No subtitle. It's by the winner of the 2010 Toronto Fringe's 24-hour playwriting contest. So at least the writing's good. Um. Maybe...clear? Clearer than this. Ugh.

In The Editor, Arthur (Eric Double) sets out to teach Toronto's Fringe Festival audiences about editing - the most important part of writing - by projecting a story he wrote onto a screen and editing it live. But when his lesson hits too close to home, Arthur has to face his own self-editing, first under the scrutinizing gaze of the audience, and then by facing the truth about his lost love.

The Editor is a raw, intimate comedy about the editor in all of us.
